There is a network of grass and surfaced paths throughout offering relaxing walks through varied habitats and extensive views. A surfaced multi-use path offers a one kilometre permissive link through the site for horse riders and cyclists.
The site is linked to the villages of Thornton and Bagworth by the circular 100 mile walk around Leicestershire, the Leicestershire Round.
