Pear Tree Wood was created in 1997 to connect nearby Burroughs Wood and Martinshaw Wood.
lthough planted withessentially a mix of native broadleaved trees,conifers in the northern section blend into those at Martinshaw Wood, toencourage the movement of pine-loving wildlife, particularly moths.
This is perfect for walks due to its walking trails.
