Workplace Hockey Competition

The competition will follow a round robin format, where 6-a-side teams will be able to play several games against a variety of teams/workplaces. There will be prizes availability but the emphasis of the competition will be on fun and enjoyment. Players of all ages and abilities are welcomed. The competition will be delivered by qualified Hockey coaches and umpires. Rules will be sent prior to the event; however instruction and practice will be available on the day. This is a mixed gender event. All kit (hockey sticks etc.) will be provided.

Please ensure that all team members come in suitable clothing and footwear to play Hockey (normal sports trainers are fine) and that you bring plenty of drinks. Arrival is from 5.30 pm, with the competition starting promptly at 6.00 pm.

Bookings are made on a first come, first served basis.

Please note: this event is being run in partnership with Leicester Hockey Club as part of the Leicester Business Festival. If you have already entered a team through the Leicester Business Festival website, there is no need to enter here on the LRS website (and vice versa).

Two teams are permitted per workplace - additional teams may be requested. This is to ensure that a variety of workplaces can take part.

Additional players: it is possible to bring up to 2 extra players on the night as substitutes (bringing your team to 8 players). Payment (additional £5.00 per additional player) and names will need to be provided on arrival.

Cost: £30.00 per team of 6 (£5.00 per person).
