Boing's online coaching course is dedicated to supporting coaches, teachers and volunteers who work with kids and young people to make their sessions more active, more inclusive and more playful than ever! This blended course has videos to watch and tasks to complete in your own time. It also includes a live online session to explore how you can incorporate the power of play into the great work you do.

Boing - Virtual Coaching Course
Led by the coach educators at Boing, this interactable Virtual Coaching Course helps develop ways of supporting children and young people to be active and build physical literacy. It is a great way to reflect and learn how to engage and excite children in PE, sports sessions or group events.
There are two sections to this course:
1. 45 minutes of online learning to do in your own time prior to the live virtual session.
2. 75 minute live virtual classroom session.
Who is this course for?
Anyone that works with 4 to 16 year olds, whether that is at a sports club, primary school or after school club, community group, faith centre, youth group or sport development settings (e.g. teachers, coaches, group leaders, volunteers, physical activity providers).
Workshop outcomes
- Explore the Boing coaching principles model and how to apply it to practise.
- Get to grips with the importance of physical literacy.
- Learn the power of play to excite and engage children.
- Have access to 120+ PlayGames and tonnes of helpful resources to expand your practice with.
The Boing virtual coaching course is CIMSPA endorsed and you receive two CPD points for completing the course.

Eligibility
Delegates must be:
- a minimum of least 16 years of age
- able to communicate effectively in English
- able to complete the online learning tasks (45 minutes) in your own time.
Online requirements
In order to access this workshop online, delegates will be required to:
- Have access to a laptop or tablet. A smartphone device is accepted but functionality can be limited. The device must have access to a microphone as the sessions will be interactive.
- Have good Wi-Fi access.
- Be able to log into the workshop 10 minutes ahead of the designated start time.
