Are you ready to join I Am Team GB?

Inspired by Team GB's involvement at the Tokyo Olympics this summer, I Am Team GB returns to encourage the nation to get up and get active.

This year's Festival of Sport takes place between 14-15 August and it promises to be something the whole family can enjoy.

Over the weekend there'll be Olympic sport taster sessions, prize giveaways and the opportunity to meet Great Britain's athletes. Leisure centres will also throw open their doors as they host have a go sessions.

Alternatively, there's the option to create your own activity and take part on a day and in a way that totally suits you – such as in your back garden or local park with family, friends or your wider community.
