The festival will bring together professionals from health and social care, the emergency services and the charity sector to celebrate and explore the very best in leadership development, quality improvement and health and wellbeing.
LLR Lead Connect and Care Festival
The Lead, Connect and Care festival is open to colleagues working in health and social care, emergency services, local authority and the charity sector across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, to celebrate and explore the very best in leadership development, quality improvement and health and wellbeing.
The event, which takes place from 21st – 25th June offers face to face and virtual opportunities to connect with others and includes development sessions on:
- Compassionate leadership and leadership circles
- Being a change maker – Active By-stander programme and Your Voice
- Tips for managing your money
- Alcohol awareness
- Health inequalities, quality Improvement and Mental health
- Reproductive health and menopause awareness
There are also sessions designed to enhance wellbeing through movement including:
- Guided walks
- E-bike taster sessions
- Laughter yoga
- Walking for wellbeing and fitness
