Employer event – Loughborough College Sport Department
Loughborough College are hosting an employer event on Monday 16th January 2023. This is an opportunity for employers and volunteering organisations to build their relationship with the nationally recognised Sport department at Loughborough College.
Loughborough College is training more than 600 young people and adults each year in its Sport department - they could well be your future workforce.
Employers and sports clubs connecting with Loughborough College provides huge opportunities to everyone involved - students, tutors, businesses, clubs and organisations and the wider sector. Help us better connect all our assets and help us build our workforce of the future.
Students this winter will be looking for voluntary work placements, supported by curriculum staff, but by the summer term there will be a cohort of students graduating from their Level 2 and 3 courses who could be well placed to join your workforce.
You may also have projects which students could complete – not just sports, physical activity or health-based projects, but digital media, business support or marketing.

Employer Event: Monday 16th January 2023 at Loughborough College
9.00am Arrival from 9am (refreshments will be served on arrival including tea, coffee, breakfast rolls, fresh fruit and pastries)
9.30 am Welcome, headline information and a general update around opportunities
10 am Small group discussions exploring what employers/clubs need, opportunities to work with the college
10.45am Reflections, feedback and action planning
11 am Tour and close
