Meet in the Watermead Park South car park accessed by car from Alderton Close, off the A607 Melton Road, LE4 7RN. Up to 3 hours parking costs £2. Contactless payment only.

The pace will be steady, to suit the ability of the group. Walking poles are provided for you to use on this activity.

Clothing: Please come prepared for the weather on the day. We recommend you wear layers to keep you warm, and avoid wearing jeans as these are cold if they get wet, and can chafe. A waterproof outer layer is preferred in wet weather. Walking boots/shoes or sturdy trainers with a good grip are the best footwear. Pumps, wellies and slip-on shoes are not suitable.

Most of the walk is level or gently inclining. We will use both pavements and paths, but also venture onto the grass and playing fields which may be wet or muddy at this time of year. Supportive footwear is recommended.

When joining us we ask you to read and agree to these safety measures.
