Business of Sport Network Session: Help to start, develop and sustain your organisation

Business of Sport Network session:

If you are operating in the sport and physical activity sector in Leicestershire, Leicester or Rutland then come and join an up and coming Business of Sport networking event.

Informal, friendly small group of people working in the sector. Coming together to share learning, support and explore opportunities together.

Active Together are pleased to introduce CASE who provide local personalised support to help you to start, develop and sustain your business.

CASE can provide advice and support to sole traders, co-operatives, social enterprises (such as Community Interest Companies) and community businesses in the East Midlands. The team can guide on a range of key areas for establishing and running businesses with a social purpose, including suitable structures for CASC registered and other unincorporated organisations, including the process to become incorporated and the protection it will give. The session will also cover practical steps for developing and sustaining, governance considerations and business models.

Join this session to begin to explore the most appropriate legal structure to achieve your aims.

Having the right structure for your organisation and spending time working on your organisation can make huge differences to how you operate, apply for funding, and how you plan to achieve your organisational objectives.

CASE can provide advice and support on a range of key areas of running your business, club or organisation.

Are you operating in the sport and physical activity sector but finding that funding is always steered towards 'Not For Profit' organisations? If you have considered reviewing or changing the TYPE of organisation which you operate under to be eligible for funding or to gain work e.g. setting up as or converting to a Community Interest Company/Social Enterprise, then join this session for practical advice and guidance to help you consider the options open to you.
