Rise of the Phoenix

This was always a really popular race and Poplar Running Club can't wait to bring it back to its former glory. Starting at the lower part of Beacon Hill the race starts with an uphill section taking you right to the top of Beacon Hill. At 248m this is the second highest point in Leicestershire, therefore you are guaranteed to be rewarded for your hard work with some amazing views. What goes up must come down, and this race does not disappoint on that score, with some tough uphill sections there are some pretty epic downhills. Just think of that post race beer to help get you round! Grab a friend and set yourself a challenge to beast those uphills and power the downhills!
