About Level The Table Grant
Birmingham 2022 provides the sport with a fantastic opportunity to reach new audiences and encourage people to take up the sport – particularly women and girls, due to the increased media coverage of female sport.
The Level The Table Grant Scheme allows us to financially support organisations including clubs, leagues and community groups which share our ambition to make table tennis more accessible.
Grants of £250 to £2,500 are available to help fund projects which do just that, with a particular emphasis on creating opportunities for women and girls.
What will the Grant fund?
Projects must cover at least one of the following areas:
- Contribute towards the delivery of our Level the Table Strategy, with a particular focus on engaging Women and Girls into Table Tennis,
- Support in establishing a new club or regular session/opportunity
- Establish sustained delivery of participation initiatives, such as TT Kidz, Ping in the Community, Bat & Chat or Back to TT
So, examples of the kind of project we would like to fund could include parent-and-daughter taster events leading into under-11 girls' TT Kidz programmes, or Bat and Chat for ladies.
Organisations can apply for a maximum of £2,500 to help pay for marketing and promotion, venue hire, activator training and coaching costs.
Applications close on 9th October 2022. Successful projects must have started by January 1, 2023.
