Postcode Places Trust Grants 2024

The Postcode Places Trust awards funds to organisations or projects in the east of England, to make a difference to their community for the benefit of people and planet. There are a number of funding themes, including enabling participation in physical activity.

About Postcode Places Trust Grants 2024

Postcode Places Trust provide unrestricted funding for charities in the East of England. Taking on feedback from good causes and sector research, we have decided to expand our unrestricted funding to be the default method of funding so we can best meet to needs of the organisations we support. Charities can apply for up to £25,000, and being unrestricted means that funding doesn't need to be tied to a specific project or activity. Rather than applying for either unrestricted funding or project funding, good causes now apply in the one form for unrestricted funding.

Funding priorities for 2024

There are a number of funding themes, including enabling participation in physical activity. Funding rounds are often oversubscribed, meaning it is not always possible to fund all high scoring applications. To support decision making, priority may be given to charities and good causes which meet some or all of the following criteria:

  • Funding organisations with an annual income of £250,000 and below
  • Funding for communities that rank as being within the top 15% on the English Indices of Deprivation
  • Funding for groups that are led by and provide services for people from the following minority/marginalised groups (Communities experiencing racial inequity, People with disabilities, LGBT+ Community)

Funding round dates for 2024 are:

  • Round 1: 25th March 9am to 1st April 2024, 12 noon.
  • Round 2: 24th June 9am to 1st July 2024, 12 noon.
  • Round 3: 24th September 9am to 1st October 2024, 12 noon.
