Activity Information

Walking is a simple, free way to develop and maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. Along with physical benefits such as reducing your risk of diabetes and high blood pressure, walking can also improve your mental health and reduce stress. Walking with others is a great way to meet new people and keep motivated.

Walks are open to those aged 55+ and are beginner friendly. We usually split into groups that walk different distances. Most walks last 60-90 minutes however there is a 30 minute route option if preferred.

Alternate between walks at the country park and other locations in the Borough each week. Takeaway drinks and snacks are still available from the cafe.
