About this event

Join us on the first Wednesday of each month for a walk around Bradgate Park where you’ll get to meet new contacts and develop business relationships, all for free. The walk will last for around an hour and you're welcome to continue conversations in one of the local cafes post-walk. We follow a variety of routes around the park, depending on the time of year, current weather, and ground conditions that suit all individuals who are participating.

We meet at the Newtown Linford car park on Bradgate Road, of Bradgate Park. We ask participants to please arrive by 8:15 am in time to park up and prepare themselves for the start. We aim to start promptly at 08:30 am, but from time to time we start a little later if we know that participants are running late.

We recommend footwear with some grip suitable for unsurfaced footpaths with some uneven surfaces and possibly mud. Please bring attire to suit all weather conditions.

There is a charge for parking in the Park’s car parks. The car park uses ANPR and you now pay before leaving, either at the machine (card & cash), or exit barrier (card only). As of early 2022 charges are £3 for 3 hours or £4.50 for all day.

FAQs

Can I bring my dog to the event?

Unfortunately not. We sometimes go into areas of the park which are not accessible to the public where deer have young or are breeding and so dogs are not allowed. We also have to be mindful of others taking part and dogs can be a distraction.

How can I contact the organiser with any questions?

You can contact the organiser either through Eventbrite, Mobile, WhatsApp, or E-Mail.

Can I update my registration information?

You can update or cancel your ticket through Eventbrite and if you are unable to attend please do this at the earliest opportunity. If you find you are unable to attend on the day, please send a text/whatsapp or call the organiser so that we do not wait around unnecessarily.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

The name on the ticket or registration must match the person attending as individuals and we do not accept group or multiple bookings on one ticket.
