Activity Information
Research shows that being near water can hugely improve your wellbeing and make you feel happier, healthier and giving you the confidence to deal with daily challenges.
Come and join us for our Wellbeing Walks and enjoy our beautiful Leicester waterways. Each walk will start and finish at Belgrave Lock, and will last an hour at a gentle pace.
You do not need specialist walking equipment, however please do wear a comfortable pair of trainers/shoes and come dressed for wonderful British weather. We would also recommend you bring a filled water bottle as well.
These walks are ideal for anyone looking to get into walking to improve their overall health and wellbeing. Walking is a low impact way to exercise and gives the opportunity to meet new people and enjoy being outdoors, all right on your door step.

Children over 8 years old are welcome on our walks, but they must be supervised by an appropriate adult at all times.
