About Technical Facilities Officer

Are you passionate about swimming facilities? Do you have a sound understanding of facility development and design? If so, an exciting opportunity within the Swim England facilities team awaits you. We are looking for a Technical Facilities Officer to join our team full-time (35 hours per week). The role is Home Based with a requirement for regular visits to our SportPark Office in Loughborough and some travel.

Swim England Facilities supports the creation and improvement of swimming facilities across England. We provide expert technical assistance throughout the strategy, design, and construction phases of new and refurbished swimming facilities. Additionally, we produce industry-leading guidance on the design and operation of these facilities.

The successful candidate will play a key role in helping to influence the swimming industry to implement Swim England's strategy through technical advice and consultancy.

This is an exciting chance to work within a small dynamic facilities team of 2 in a busy department dedicated to ensuring adequate aquatic space provision. You will have the opportunity to work autonomously on your own initiative within this role under the guidance of the Head of Facilities. You will play an important role in ensuring the implementation of Swim England's strategy on water.
