About Health Improvement Officer

The successful applicant will require to have had experience of planning, co-ordinating, supporting, delivering, and monitoring sustainable public health programmes and wellbeing initiatives including the funding, resourcing, partnership working, marketing and promotion.

You will have the opportunity to deliver these health improvement and other local health inequalities with an imaginative approach, in a way that influences the priorities of the borough's dynamic health and wellbeing partnership in areas such as mental health, smoking, levels of physical activity and supporting employee health.

To achieve this, you will need to be a real team player and have excellent skills and experience of partnership working with a wide range of stakeholders at the council, with health partners, practitioners and in the community.

If you are highly motivated, conscientious and committed to making a difference, we would like to invite you to apply to join the Cultural Services team based at Hinckley Leisure Centre in realising our exciting and innovative ambitions for Health Improvement.
