Who will you work with?

  • You will get to work with some great people and organisations in this role. One of the critical parts of this role is to be able to engage with people and help SSG build strong relationships with all of its stakeholders.
  • In addition to an existing team of instructors, coordinators and managers, you will get to work with a wide range of participants of all ages, and other professionals in the industry.

What will you do?

  • Instruct groups of children, young people and adults in a range of physical sports, Active Care and adventurous activities.
  • Provide general supervision for groups, ensuring they are engaged, happy, safe and well.
  • Contribute to the general operations of the business including the equipment, stores, vehicles and some basic admin support.

What do you need to be able to fulfil this role?

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Strong communication, organization and leadership skills that can be further developed.
  • Have a positive, fun, can do attitude and a flexible approach to working
  • Have a willing to learn, develop and improve yourself.
  • Have a high degree of self-motivation and a discipline to work on your own, while maintaining high standards.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under time restraints.
  • An interest and/or background in physical activity, sports and/or outdoor activities.
  • A passion for people

This role requires the candidate to transport equipment and therefore a driving licence is required.
