About the Role:

You will be working in a professional football club environment, utilising state of the art facilities. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate outstanding teaching to our BTEC students who are studying at the Sheffield United Community College, as well as mentoring on our Foundation Degree programme. You are expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons in the classroom, sports laboratories and sporting field. In addition, you will be responsible for assessing learner's work in accordance with the awarding body guidelines.

As part of this role, you will be responsible to plan, organise and coordinate the college's recruitment strategy. You will work closely with the college's leadership team to agree and deliver a recruitment strategy aimed to attract and recruit learners, aged 16-18, onto our various study programmes.

As an employed member of staff at Sheffield United Community Foundation, you will be entitled to statutory holidays, that include bank holidays, as well as adopting a flexible working policy. You will be required to teach a maximum of 24 hours, attend regular meetings, be part of learner enrichment programmes as well as manage your own time efficiently to plan, prepare and assess.
