Sports Development Centre7hrs per week - Part-time, Fixed Term
Loughborough Sport, are looking for a successful and experienced individual to coach and develop our highly talented goalkeepers within our football programme.
As our Goalkeeping Coach for the football programme, you will be responsible for leading the planning, organisation, and coaching of the goalkeepers on our Men’s and Women’s Performance Programme here at Loughborough University. You will be guided by the Loughborough Way Philosophy and wider Football Strategy, to responsibility coach both the Loughborough Lightning Women’s Goalkeepers (Tier three) and Men’s Performance Goalkeepers, these Goalkeepers often represent our BUCS 1st team.
We are looking for a candidate who has experience in both player development (preferrable the Professional Development Phase but not essential) and performance driven environments where winning is important. We place importance and value on both of these aspects of the role but fundamentally prioritise the development of the person first. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person working within the PDP and senior football environments.
The successful candidate will be expected to work alongside professional staff, performance athletes and within a interdisciplinary staff coaching team.
