About Lecturer in Sports Coaching

The HE Sport and Elite Sport Department at Loughborough College is actively recruiting for a Lecturer in Sports Coaching. This post is a job share consisting of a 0.7 FTE contract with the HE Sport team teaching undergraduate students and 0.3 FTE contract with the Elite Sport team supporting the level 4 Sport Coach apprenticeship programme.

For this role, the successful candidate will have experience of teaching undergraduate students within the area of Sports Coaching, with an ability to contribute towards to the off the job delivery and assessment of the level 4 Sport Coach (School pathway) apprenticeship programme as advised by the programme co-ordinator. This programme supports apprentices actively working as a coach within the education sector who are preparing for their end point assessment.

The Applicant:

You will have a commitment to student centered learning with teaching and curriculum design, underpinned by scholarly activity, research and/or experience as an applied practitioner.

To be successful you will have a Masters and a good honours degree that are relevant to the post along with teaching experience.
