Level 2 Swim Teacher
Afro Aquatics empowers the Black community including African, Asian and Caribbean people to be healthy, happy and confident swimmers. We are based in Leicester but wish to expand our services to offer more sessions, saving more lives, to support more people to learn to swim.
Female Level 2 Swim Teacher
We are currently looking for experienced and passionate female teachers to join our team, to help teach the Women’s only group that currently runs Tuesday evenings in Braunstone, Leicester, 8.45 pm-9.45 pm. For ages 16+. Teaching all abilities the Swim England Adults Framework. The beginner's classes will be taught in the water.
Level 2 Swim Teachers
We are also looking for both male and female passionate Swimming Teachers that wish to be part of the Afro Aquatics team, for the Adults Swim Tuition, aged 16+. Fridays 7 pm- 8 pm at Leicester Grammar School Starting in March 2023,
Teaching all abilities the Swim England Adults Framework. The beginner's classes will be taught in the water.
Casual / Cover Level 2 Swim Teachers
We would like to employ teachers that perhaps do not want to commit to teaching every week to cover holidays, and sickness as we begin to expand our services across Leicestershire and the East Midlands.
All our staff are hired as self-employed teachers and will need to hold a valid DBS certificate ideally on the update service, current safeguarding training certificate, have their own insurance and hold a National Swim Teacher Rescue Award or equivalent qualification, (or be willing to gain rescue award asap). Afro Aquatics fully supports staff with regular CPD and training and pays up to £19 per hour.
