Places Leisure are looking for a Senior Recreational Assistant, who is looking to gain experience and take on some Duty Manager duties. You will help ensure the safe and efficient running of your centre. You will maintain a high profile with customers and operational staff. You will act as a mentor and role model and support the training and development of staff.

Key Objectives

  • To support and contribute to the company's mission statement – 'To create active places and healthy people'.
  • To ensure the efficient day to day operation of the Centre.
  • To undertake additional specific responsibilities.

More about you

You will have excellent communication and social skills as you'll often be the first point of contact for customers. You will have real attention to detail to ensure the safety of customers as well as the cleanliness of centres and pool environments. You will be responsible for ensuring the cleaning schedule is adhered to and the preparation of areas and equipment as appropriate, so you'll need to be hard working and have a conscientious attitude underpinned with by your skills in initiative application.

Ideally, you'll have your National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) with up to date NPLQ training records. Holding the National Pool Plant qualification would also be great but it is not essential.
