About SASP Swim Teachers

We are looking for ASA/Swim England Level 1 or 2 Qualified Swim teachers to join our swim school. We run our swim scheme 4 days a week, SASP Learn to Swim is a weekly term-time swim school which runs throughout the week after school Monday to Thursday 4:00-6:00pm at Quantock Lodge.

The swim school caters for all abilities, from beginner to stroke development and the pool is laid out in ability groups using the Swim England Learn to Swim Framework. The Swim England Learn to Swim Framework is about developing confident and competent swimmers through fun and enjoyment, and Learn to Swim Stages 1-7 are at the heart of the programme. Each of the seven stages of the Swim England Learn to Swim Framework has a clear set of targets for the pupil to meet so they can get to the next stage. Our beginner classes also work towards the Swim England Duckling Awards 1, 2 and 3. Once children complete Stage 7, they have the opportunity to swim in our Academy group which is a pre-club development group working towards stroke technique and stamina. They also work towards Swim England Stage 8 and beyond.

We have put our own twist on the framework which is different to all the rest, if you are easily adaptable in your teaching then we'd love to hear from you.
