Alison from Hinckley & Bosworth
Alison has always had a passion for exercise, with a particular love for walking and being a member of the National Trust. After retiring in 2022 at the age of 59, she felt the need to be more active following years of working in an office. She initially joined David Lloyd, which she enjoyed, but had to cut back when her elderly mum fell ill and time became limited. Realising the importance of maintaining mobility, strength, and balance—especially after seeing her mum lose much of hers during a hospital stay—Alison joined a local exercise class. This decision not only boosted her fitness but also gave her a wonderful sense of enthusiasm and well-being. Now, as a Let's Get Moving Champion, Alison hopes to inspire others to prioritise their health and find joy in staying active.
