Grace Garner signs for Wiggle High5 Pro Cycling

The rise of Grace Garner has continued after joining Wiggle High5 Pro Cycling.

Announced yesterday, Garner will be linking up with older sister Lucy, who also rides for the team. Having been supported through GO GOLD funding for a number of years, Garner's progression has followed that of Lucy's, both of whom are set for big futures in cycling.

In her latest GO GOLD blog, Grace wrote:

"I want to say a massive thank you to everyone at Leicestershire & Rutland Sport. I've been supported by the funding for 6/7 years. Without their help it would have been difficult for me to concentrate fully on training.

I've finally made a step up which means I will no longer need the help of GoGold. I will always follow and support LRS as it has helped me get this far! I recommend to any young aspiring athlete to seek their support through the Go Gold scheme as its given me so many opportunities.

I cannot thank everyone enough!"
