John Ferneley College first Battle of the Schools winners

John Ferneley College are the first to win the Battle of the Schools prizes having had more Workplace Challenge sign ups than any other school in the area.

Although still in second place behind Bosworth Academy when it comes to points, John Ferneley were able to take their tally upto 64 people, ensuring they claimed the £250 worth of sports equipment.

There's still more time for schools to get involved, with the second phase of the Battle of the Schools underway now until the end of February. Coinciding with the Active Lunch, teachers, office staff, assistants and everyone else is encouraged to try out 10 minutes of physical activity every lunchtime. As little as 10 minutes a day can help you become healthier and happier, so work off some of that school stress with colleagues.

The next eight weeks of the challenge will be judged on the most points during that period, so it is all to play for again.
