Bosworth Academy are set to represent Leicestershire on a regional scale after winning their second Table Tennis finals.
The Under-19 side were victorious back in November at Judgemeadow and have followed that up with glory against representative sides from the sub-region. This has presented the opportunity to go one step further when they go to Blackburn, hoping to make themselves a national challenger.
The school are set to compete in early March and should they progress, the national finals are held in the county, at Hinckley Leisure Centre later in the same month.
In November, Bosworth came out on top against previous years winners Ashby School following an enthralling final battle. The overall results on the night read:
Winners ~ Bosworth Academy
2nd Place ~ Ashby School
3rd Place ~ King Edward VII College
4th Place ~ Gateway College
5th Place ~ The Cedars Academy
6th Place ~ Charnwood College
