WANTED: All Stars Cricket Activators

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) is seeking to recruit a number of enthusiastic and dedicated people on a voluntary basis to support the grassroots cricket network to deliver All Stars Cricket (ASC). ASC is a new entry level programmed designed for 5-8 year olds to experience cricket for the first time, through fun, skill development based games.

ASC is an 8-week structured programme, which will be delivered between May-September. Each session will last approximately 45 minutes. There will be an opportunity to plan the timing of the sessions in collaboration with your club.

There has never been a better time to get involved in grassroots cricket, with 2017 seeing two major tournaments come to England. The ICC Champions Trophy will be spread across the country from 1st-18th June, with the top eight international countries battling it out in the 50 over format of the game.

And the action comes even closer to home with the Women's World Cup. Four games will be played at Leicestershire's Grace Road home, the tournament begins a week after the Champions Trophy and will add to what is set to be a memorable summer for English cricket. And with Test series against South Africa and West Indies to follow, the action never stops. With cricket fever across the nation, more youngsters are set to take part and you could be at the heart of their love of the game.
