Team Leicestershire badminton keeps trophies close

Four finals in quick succession saw four schools pick up Team Leicestershire's victory in the badminton.

Held at Babington Community College, KS3 and KS4 teams battled it out for the opportunity to represent Leicestershire at the regional finals. The four nights produced victories for Loughborough High, Newbridge, King Edward and Ashby School. That meant that North West Leicestershire were well represented with a hat-trick of victories, with Loughborough High doing their bit on behalf of Charnwood.

The standard was high throughout, with closely fought battles inching victory either way. There were stand out performances though, with King Edward winning every match 5-0 on their way to KS4 Girls glory.
