Silver Medal success for Leicestershire athlete at World Schools Orienteering Championships

Over 600 athletes participated in the biennial World Schools Orienteering Championships in Sicily in the last week in April.

Leicestershire Grammar School's Charlie Rennie counted for England in the Team winning Silver medals in the Junior Boys Competition.

The event was based on the shortest combined times for a long race and a middle distance race.

It's the first time Leicestershire has been represented in the Team event, Ashleigh Howells of Loughborough High ran for England in the Senior Girls.
