7 local riders qualify for National Championships

The regional qualifiers for the National RDA Championships in the countryside challenge event, took place on the 22nd May at Scropton Riding Centre just outside Burton-upon-Trent, with 35 riders from 9 different riding groups across the East Midlands.

Wenlo RDA (riding for the Disabled Association), had anamazing 6 riders qualify for these annual championship at prestigious Hartpury college in Gloucestershire.

The following 6 riders will be competing at the National RDA Championships between the 14-16th July: Ellie Hull, Kirsty Laing, Paul Collett, Lucy Armstrong, Jonathan Rigby and Elsie Johnstone.

Ellis Holdaway from the stables entered the regional qualifies for dressage on the 8th may. Not only has he qualified but he won the trophy for finishing highest score of the day in all categories. An amazing achievement in such a strong competition.
