Yesterday saw the girls basketball finals took place at the Leicester Arena, with 8 teams going head to head in the finals featuring year 7,8,9 and KS4 girls.
There was much to see on the night from high flying 3 pointers to jostling duels amongst the rivals, and even Leicester Riders player, Harrison at the forefront to witness the teams in action!
Rawlins won 3 out of the four finals, proving to be strong talent throughout the age groups. Belvoir Priory won the Year 8 finals in a well contested battle with Lutterworth College.

The winning teams were awarded their deserved medals by Leicester Riders player Harrison Gamble and congratulated them for becoming this year's reigning county champions!
A special thanks to Leicester Arena and Leicester Riders Player, Harrison Gamble for hosting the event on the night and well done to all competing teams.
The next Team Leicestershire finals to be played is the girls and boys year 9/10 hockey on the 13th March.
