Parklands Leisure Centre Sports Hall & Brocks Hill Country Park redevelopment project

In February 2018, Parklands Leisure Centre in Oadby opened its new soft play facility and climbing centre following a £1 million redevelopment, aiming to attract families from across the Borough and Leicestershire.

In November 2017, Everyone Active took over the management of the Brocks Hill Country Park. As part of the redevelopment project, Everyone Active and Oadby and Wigston Borough Council have extensively refurbished the existing site.

The refurbished centre now hosts a large activity area with a wooden sprung floor which offers a fantastic space for a wide variety of activities. These will include, educational opportunities, conferences, parties and children's activities. The centre also boasts a new conference and meeting room with the latest audio-visual technology available.

The redevelopment of both sites adds to a fantastic existing activity offer and provides a brilliant example of changing use of existing spaces to bring
facilities up to date.
