Blaby & Harborough Sprint their way to a Second Year Victory at the School Games Sportshall Athletics Final

On Friday, 10th January, the Year 5 & 6 Mixed Sportshall Athletics took place at Uppingham School Sports Centre. Ten primary schools competed, with around 250 athletes in total, 15 leaders and 40 spectators including staff. All teams demonstrated fantastic sportsmanship, encouraging and supporting each other throughout the competition.

However it was Badgerbrook Primary School from Blaby & Harborough who's efforts took them to victory for the second year running, with North West Leicestershire in second, Melton & Belvoir in third and South Charnwood winning the Spirit of the Games trophy for demonstrating the most School Games values of: passion, self-belief, respect, honesty, teamwork and determination.

9th: Oadby & Wigston (Fairfield Primary School)

10th: South Charnwood (Rothley Primary)
