Get Involved with the Active Foxes Challenge and Help us reach 515 hours of Activity!

BBC Radio Leicester and Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport have partnered to bring you the Active Foxes challenge, an activity challenge with one aim – logging 515 hours of activity by Saturday, 2nd May!

Why is the number 515 important? It took Leicester City Football Club's regular 11 players 515 hours of football to win their historic Premier League title in 2015/16. The fourth anniversary of that incredible day in LCFC's history is approaching on May 2nd, and we want you, your family, friends and colleagues to help us achieve a massive total of 515 hours of activity before then. Let's show Jamie Vardy and the team how much of an inspiration they are to all of us.

So, be active with us, in whatever way you can (provided you are following social distancing rules). It could be a socially distanced walk, an online home workout, dancing, a dog walk, a yoga session in your lounge, or some keepy uppies with the kids in the garden, every minute counts. Simply log it on our Activity Tracker and watch us get closer to that magic number.

You don't have to be a football fan, let's just try and get to the target as a team. It's time to get active Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland!

For more information and details on how to join the challenge and log your activity.

The Important Stuff

You need to be over 14 years of age to create an account. If you are under the age of 14 please ask a guardian to create a family account to log your activities together.

Participants must undertake activities in their own home or whilst conforming to the government's social distancing and self-isolation rules. The Government advise that you can leave your house once a day for exercise (to walk, cycle or run) on your own or with members of your household. You should stay 2m away from anyone who isn't part of your household.

More advice

Whilst taking part in physical activity, participants should ensure they take part at a level which is appropriate to them and their health and are responsible for ensuring they check the credentials and health and safety requirements for each activity. It is recommended that participants follow the Chief Medical Officers Guidelines for physical activity. Participants will choose to take part in activities at their own risk.
