Join us as we highlight #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek 2020!

During Mental Health Awareness Week (18th-24th May 2020) we are promoting the importance of physical activity and mental health across the week by sharing our staff stories, tips, advice and videos to help!

This year, the Mental Health Foundation are focusing on kindness! Did you know taking part in a random act of kindness can really help to boost our mental health and help us feel better? Look out for posts of our team doing some random acts of kindness this week! If you have done anything like this recently then be sure to tag us in your photos on Twitter @lr_sport!

If you're looking for advice and tips on Mental Health and Wellbeing our #HealthyAtHome offer has lots of ideas and helpful apps that can help to keep on top of how you may be feeling, especially during these challenging times. Our This Girl Can Ambassador, Natasha Mina has also put together a video focusing on Breathing, Mindfulness and Yoga which can also be great tool for our mental health, you can watch the video in full here.

You can also head over to our Get Active Search Engine where you will find a range of weekly virtual classes to take part in! If you're a Fitness Instructor, Coach or Club Volunteer it's also worth mentioning that the Mental Health Awareness for Sport and Physical Activity course in partnership with Mind, usually £18 is now FREE until August 2020!
