The Activity Alliance have released a new resource called 'Taking a person-centred approach'

The Activity Alliance's new resource highlights how a person's social identities connect and overlap; and how this can influence their activity levels. The resource encourages sport and leisure organisations to look beyond standard demographics and take a person-centred approach when planning and providing opportunities.

The resource includes insight on how different factors come together to influence disabled people's lives. Topics include: impairments, living standards, employment and education. It also offers expert guidance and simple suggestions for organisations to use in their work.

The resource was created to challenge and improve organisations' commitment to inclusion at every level, in order to help deliver better experiences for disabled people across the sector. For more information and to download the resource, please visit their website.
