This latest Daily Boost Challenge was a hit with many primary schools, who took to the playgrounds to learn new skipping tricks as well as reminisce on old skipping song favourites.
After the tough times schools have faced throughout this last year, the Daily Boost wanted to celebrate the changing of the seasons with a new, exciting challenge for all schools to get involved with between the 22nd Feb - 26th March. A number of resources were made and schools were encouraged to get out in the fresh air to learn some new skipping moves and get involved with some bronze, silver and gold challenge videos set by an independent skipping company - Jump Rope UK.
We saw over 16 new schools register or re-register to the Daily Boost during this challenge and have had an increase in those schools adding data to our Daily Boost tracker, which highlights how much activity every child is benefitting from by taking part in this programme.
This was the first challenge to incorporate some Spring Term prizes and it was great to see so many schools willing to get so involved to ensure their school was a contender for one of these prizes. The winners for each draw was announced last week and they are:
- New School Sign-Up £50 Winner = Langmoor Primary School
- Twitter Engagement Post, 2 x £50 Winners = Riverside Community Primary School & Stonebow Primary School
- Daily Boost Tracker Data Upload £100 Winner = Thythorn Field Community Primary School
Each of these winning schools shared a bit about their Daily Boost story so far, how they got involved with the challenge, what Daily Boost is like for them and any top tips for other schools thinking of taking part, so head over to the 'Our Stories' section on the Daily Boost webpage to read some more about each winning school.
And that isn't all! As schools have enjoyed these themed challenges so much, there will be another one coming very soon so if you aren't already, make sure to register your school with the Daily Boost to enable you exclusive access to the challenge resources and support throughout the programme. In the meantime keep an eye out on our social media or Daily Boost website for any new updates to our new challenge.
