Beat the street has come to Leicester - Let the game begin!

Get ready Leicester - Beat the Street is here from 26th May until 17th July 2021. Local schools, workplaces and community groups can compete to see who can walk, run, cycle, scoot, and roll the furthest around Leicester by the end of the game. Find Beat Boxes around your area, hover your contactless card/fob to earn points for your team, and help win hundreds of pounds worth of prizes. Playing the game is easy!

What do I need to play?

Children in Primary Schools require fobs and maps to take part in the game. These fobs and maps will be sent directly to each Primary School involved, along with a parent pack. Anyone else in the community, needs a card and a map which can be collected from distribution points soon. These will be listed on the Beat the Street website. How do I take part?

Pick up a card and map from a distribution point and visit www.beatthestreet.me/leicester/ to set your team up. Please note that in order to be able to win prizes, your team must have 6 or more members.

Beat the Street and COVID-19

• Beat the Street is COVID safe.
• All beat boxes will be sanitized regularly.
• You collect points by using your card in a contactless method.
• You do not need to touch the beat box.
• Everyone is encouraged to wash their hands before and after playing Beat the Street
• Cards and Fobs should not be shared.
