After a 16 month break enforced by the pandemic, parkrun is back! Almost 100,000 walkers, joggers and runners took part in a 5k parkrun across the UK on July 24th, supported by more than 13,000 volunteers. As the 5k events resumed in England.
As with 5k events, the large majority of junior parkruns in England have now reopened, and, consequently, 11-14 year olds can once again record a walk, jog or run.
Dedicated volunteers are always needed at events across the country. If you are interested in volunteering or taking part Find your local race and get in touch with the organisers to find out more.
