New name, same (great) service!

We are pleased to announce the next part of our journey to encourage the people of Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland to move more in their own way.

We have changed our name to 'Active Together' (formerly Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport/LRS).

We want to build a better system for physical activity and sport across Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland, to support the wellbeing of our communities.

Our Active Together brand is now being integrated across local programmes, campaigns and events and our role continues in developing a physical activity narrative for our Partners.

Our branding will continue to transition over the coming months with the aim that by November 2021 'Active Together' will be fully integrated across our range of digital services, programmes and campaigns that underpin the overall movement.

We have expanded and spilt our social media channels to provide dedicated accounts for our Partners and local residents.

We want to use this development of our brand, along with the flexible way that our partners can adopt and amend it for local fit, to symbolise that we are building a movement. Working alongside like-minded Partner organisations and individuals, to champion the importance of physical activity in everyday life, for our physical and mental health.
