Enjoy taking part in a local activity session or joining in at a local club? Yes, we need you!

We are looking for local Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland people to help us inspire your neighbours and your local communities to get out and move a bit more.

We are also looking for inactive people who are looking to move a bit more, whether that be for physical or mental health benefits, and allow us to follow them on their journey to being more active and inspire others to take the first step too. However big your goals are, we want to support you along the way.

Want to be involved?

We are recruiting 6-8 volunteer Active Together Champions, to be the face of our Active Together campaigning and help us to share the message far and wide that physical activity and moving more is good for you.

They'll do this by telling their stories about how they stay active, including how they fit activity into their daily lives, what motivates them, and how they have overcome any barriers that might have stopped them from being active.

We are looking for people who are happy to share their stories online and in their local community and to become Active Together champions.

We particularly welcome Champions from black, minority, ethnic (BME) communities, disabled people and LGBT communities, to ensure that we recruit a diverse network of Champions which is representative of the communities we work in.

We are actively seeking and encouraging applications from candidates from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, to ensure our programme is representative of the communities we work in.
