Early Years Physical Activity, Health & Wellbeing Conference 2022

The Conference is the perfect opportunity for Early Years practitioners to come together to network and to learn from experienced professionals around the importance of keeping children active and improving their health and wellbeing.

Two keynote speakers will be attending the Conference to share their industry experiences, as well as delivering workshops later on in the programme.

Keynote Speaker 1: Helen Battelley (Music + Movement)

Helen Battelley is a renowned dance and movement specialist in Early and Primary Education. Helen is a well-trained consultant, author, speaker and trainer in the discipline of physical activity and movement in early years as well decreasing sedentary behaviours.

Keynote Speaker 2: Ben Kingston-Hughes (Inspired Children)

Ben Kingston-Hughes is an international keynote speaker, author and multi award-winning trainer. He is also the Managing Director of Inspired Children and has worked with vulnerable children across the UK for over 30 years.

Workshops

A total of 6 workshops will be delivered during the Conference, for which you will be able to attend 2 of them. Please note each workshop will be capped and places will be given on a first come first served basis. When filling in your booking form we will ask what your order of preference is and you will be notified which workshops you have been given.

Workshop B: Louise Coleman (Messy Senses) - Messy Play Matters

Workshop C: Kim Pott (Kimble's Music & Movement & Funky Feet Music) - Fine Motor Development using Music, Lycra and Dough Dancing

Workshops D-F (11.10 - 11.50 am)

Workshop D: Helen Battelley (Music + Movement) - Boosting Learning Through Movement

Workshop E: Shelley Smith (Sunrise Wellbeing) - Mindful Movement

Workshop F: Katy Harris (Katy Lou's) - Risky Play
