Club Matters LGBT+ Inclusivity

This month is LGBT History Month 2022 (February) so we wanted to shine a spotlight on Clubs Matter's dedicated webpage on LGBT+ inclusivity.

Sports clubs, groups and organisations thrive when they engage a diverse range of individuals and ensure that everyone can be their authentic selves when participating or volunteering. To achieve this, more needs to be done to encourage lesbian, gay, bi and trans (LGBT+) people to take part in sport and physical activity.

Developed with input from Pride Sports and Stonewall, the page helps clubs and groups understand the role they can play in helping to address the barriers and challenges faced by LGBT+ people these and what they can do to being more inclusive.
