For the first time in over 25 years, an U11's team from Leicestershire will compete at the Table Tennis England National School Team Championship!
Burbage Junior School Girls U11's (based in Hinckley), represented Leicestershire at the Regional Finals in Grantham on Sunday 6th February, beating Firfield Primary School (Derbyshire) 6-2 and Bankfields Primary School (Yorkshire) 7-1 to book their place at the National Finals in Wolverhampton on April 3rd 2022.
Over 100 school teams competed across four events in Blackburn, Bristol and Grantham, all looking to compete at the National Finals.
Congratulations to the team of Grace, Amelia, Amber and Isla for their huge achievement - as they displayed skill, calmness and teamwork during their victories whilst representing Leicestershire.
