Book a space for your child at a Holidays Together club this Easter!

Did you know that children and young people who are eligible for free school meals can take part in free holiday clubs this year?

Holidays Together – Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) is a free and exciting holiday programme for children aged 4 to 16, living in Leicestershire and in receipt of benefits-related free school meals. It is funded by the Department for Education.

Leicestershire County Council is working with us here at Active Together to co-ordinate the Easter 2022 programme, which will be delivered at venues across the county by schools, voluntary and community organisations, childcare providers and sports clubs.

FREE holiday club sessions are available this Easter, from 11th-22nd April, for children and young people:

  • aged 4 to 16
  • living in Leicestershire
  • and in receipt of benefits-related free school meals

Eligible children can be booked on to 4 free holiday club sessions, which includes a tasty meal each day.

The sessions will offer a variety of fun activities, including sports, music, arts, and other opportunities to learn and develop new skills.

Some holiday clubs will also offer fee-paying places for children and young people not eligible for free school meals, and families who are eligible for Universal Credit may be able to claim back up to 85% of their childcare costs.

HOW TO BOOK A PLACE FOR YOUR CHILD

To find out more about the sessions, discuss any individual requirements or needs, or to book a place, please contact the Providers directly. Information about the sessions and their contact information is listed on our Holidays Together webpage here.

You can also view the sessions by downloading the PDF Programme on the webpage.

There are various sessions available in the following districts/areas: Blaby, Charnwood, Harborough, Hinckley, North Leicester area, Melton, North West Leicestershire and Oadby & Wigston.
