Set, Pedal - Go! gears up for second phase of delivery

The Set, Pedal - Go! programme has already helped many children across Leicestershire learn to cycle, and is ready to provide even more opportunities!

With funding from the Bikeability Trust, Active Together are providing a learn to ride cycling programme aimed at supporting primary school children to learn this important life skill.

The sessions are specifically designed for children who aren't yet able to cycle without the support of stabilisers and, being a free programme, may be particularly beneficial for families - such as those eligible for free school meals - to remove the cost barrier to accessing such training.

Set, Pedal - Go! coaches will provide professional instruction, as well as bringing the bikes and helmets with them - meaning children don't need to have access to their own equipment to take part.

The following sessions are currently available and open for parents/guardians to register their child for the 5-week programme starting on Saturday 11th June 2022:

  • Wigston (at South Wigston High School), Saturdays, 10.00 - 11.00
  • Wigston (at South Wigston High School), Saturdays, 11.00 - 12.00
  • Snibston (at Snibston Colliery Park), Saturdays 13.15 - 14.15 (starts 18th June)

To register, please complete the booking form available here.
