Looking for a new picnic spot to try this summer? We've come up with a list of great places throughout Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland for you to try!

Watermead Country Park - LCC Area

A pretty and peaceful park with great views of the lake, this spot is ideal for summertime picnics! With cycling routes, wildflower meadows, a thriving nature reserves and woodland area, a trip to Watermead will make you feel at one with nature.

Bradgate Park - Charnwood

This public park in the heart of Charnwood Forest covers over 850 acres, so there's plenty of room for all the family when visiting! Whether you take a gentle stroll around the park, hike up the hills to enjoy the views, or even share your picnic with the resident deer, a trip to Bradgate Park is always is a fun day out!

Cutts Close Park - Rutland
