A sustainability platform helping Leicestershire businesses to become greener for the environment

Zellar is the world's first 'sustainability-as-a-service' platform. Their software platform enables businesses to measure, manage and amplify their sustainability journey in one place by simplifying and providing easy access to the things that can help you reduce your carbon emissions. These such things may include changing to renewable energy, investing in local carbon biodiversity and offsetting projects which ultimately can all help businesses decrease their overall running costs.

Working in partnership with the Business Gateway Growth Hub, Zellar still have a limited number of licences to use across their digital platform and these licences include a bespoke plan for businesses, including:

  • Advice on how to offset emissions
  • How to find sustainable energy providers
  • How to reduce energy (and money) waste
  • How to change behaviour among employees
  • Businesses in the same sectors can compare against peers
  • Share good practice with other businesses

Richard Garner, Head of Partnerships at Zellar, explains what the platform can do for your business.

"With climate change the biggest issue of our generation, everyone, everywhere needs to become more sustainable. We've created Zellar to help make that happen before it's too late. We're delighted that Leicestershire is showing such leadership in green issues for the business sector."

Becoming more sustainable is something that all businesses – big and small – have to do. Zellar offers as an excellent opportunity to support local small businesses to make this change in a cost-effective way.
